Watch out for Wales in Euro 2016

While certainly not as highly regarded as their big brother England, the Welsh national team could very easily sneak under the radar at the upcoming Euros.

While Gareth Bale is the obvious name to point out, could a serviceable midfield behind a potent frontline spell disaster for Slovakia, Russia and maybe even England?

The Welsh team could be the surprise package of the tournament with many touting them to be a one-man team, lead by newly crowned Champions League winner Gareth Bale.

But, injuries withstanding, there are many players who have already proven they’re more than capable of winning at the highest level.

Leicester’s Andy King and Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey headline a midfield that should have the speed and overall quickness to keep up with the likes of England and Russia.

And when it comes to the Welsh defence, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be able to contain Russian and Slovakian attacks.

Premier League defenders Ashley Williams (Swansea), James Collins (West Ham) and Ben Davies (Southampton) provide experience and leadership in and otherwise youthful backline.
