Bayern Munich have signed Mats Hummels from rivals Borussia Dortmund and beaten Manchester United in the race to sign Renato Sanches.
Guardiola’s side wasted little time bringing in new players following the Champions League semi-final loss to Athletico Madrid.
Hummels has spent the past eight and a half years at Dortmund, initially arriving on loan from Bayern Munich to start.
Sanches meanwhile has been a target of Louis Van Gaal for quite some time however the Dutchman failed to reach an agreement with the highly touted 18-year-old.
The German centre back is rumoured to have left Dortmund for roughly 38million while the young Portuguese star fetched a 35million price tag.
With former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti stepping into the managers’ shoes next season, the Italian will have some serious firepower to play with.
